Maybelline The Eye Eraser

Hey ladies! Now I don't know about you but there is nothing I hate more then dark circles under my eyes and I am always trying new concealers to combat this. I used to use this basic Maybelline concealer stick and it covered like a dream, then they discontinued it. Typical! So last week I thought I would give the Eye Eraser a go. I have always been intrigued by the sponge applicator and seeing as it was still by Maybelline I knew the quality would be good. It also has Goji berry in it which is meant to care for the eye area at the same time so I couldn't go wrong. :)

So first up, the packaging is something totally different to anything I have ever used before and is a nice compact size so its ideal for carrying around with you. The mini sponge applicator is really cute and super soft to the touch and makes applying it a lot easier then you would think. It doesn't drag on the skin around the eye and provides a nice amount of product.

Now I got this in the 'light' shade and its matches my skin perfectly. I'm a NC15 in MAC foundation just to give you some sort of idea. The product itself is lovely and creamy, glides onto the skin and its also really easy to blend. I hate concealers that crease really easily and get all cakey when applied to the skin but this isn't like that at all. The only thing I would say is I found I couldn't apply this just by using the applicator, I used my fingers afterwards to completely blend it into my skin. For me, it created a more flawless finish. As for coverage, this was really good! It doesn't totally 'erase' dark circles like the name suggests but it definitely reduces them.

Overall I was really impressed with this concealer and I loved the flawless finish it left me with. The sponge applicator is cute and does make application a little easier. If you are on the hunt for a new concealer to hide those bags then this is worth a try. You can pick this up for about £7.99 from all good drugstores.

Have you tried this product before? What did you think? Any concealers you swear by?

Lots of love

Winter Warmers

winter Warmers

Polyvore

Hey! Today I just wanted to do a quick post on some what I like to call, winter warmers. Its getting colder all the time and its getting to that time of year where you want to be all wrapped up before leaving the house. I love a nice cosy scarf or a chunky knit hat paired with my winter coat and these are just a few that I found and thought would look super cute once the temperature drops a little more.

I included the classic bobble hats in a range of colours, some with a knitted bobble and others with a fur bobble which I am seeing everywhere at the moment. I love shades of deep reds, creams and browns in the winter and there are lots around to choose from. I also had to add in the novelty hat like this cute panda number. Panda's are my favourite animal so I just fell in love with this straight away, lets be honest, you are never too old for an animal hat. :) I have also been loving ear muffs lately as you can still style your hair and not ruin it but also keep your ears all nice and toasty. I really like the classic black pair but the grey is also pretty sweet too. Lastly is scarves and tartan is huge this season so what better way to incorporate it into your winter wardrobe then in a scarf. If you prefer to be even more wrapped up then there is always a snood to keep you all warm and cosy. :)

So thats it for my quick winter warmers post. I hope you enjoyed it and it maybe gave you a few ideas for what you'd like to style your winter coat with this year.

Lanolips 101 Ointment Balm

Hey everyone! So if, like me, you are a lip product junkie then you'll understand that a girl can never have too many lip balms no matter how similar they are. I am always on the hunt for a lip balm that works wonders on my lips and with the winter weather nearly upon us, I need something to totally banish dry lips forever. So when I saw this cute little tube in Boots the other day I knew I had to try it out. I have heard so many great reviews on this that I couldn't wait to give it a whirl.

So first up, how cute is this packaging? I love the fact its a pink tube with a gold cap, it makes it look really special and super girly. The little sheep logo is really sweet too and ties in nicely with the actual product. This multi purpose balm contains Lanolin which is a natural substance taken from shorn sheep's wool. Sounds kind of random I know but this stuff works!

When I first applied this I couldn't believe how tough it was to get out of the tube, the product itself was really hard and its only when I massaged it onto my lips, did it turn into a lovely buttery texture.  I now warm the tube in my hands first just to make it a little easier to apply. This balm is amazing, it has totally transformed my lips and I can now wear matte lipstick without having to worry about any dry patches. Its really hydrating, moisturising and lasts for hours. I also love the fact that its natural, I find lip balms with any sort of chemicals in them react badly with my lips. Another plus point for me is its totally odourless, I find scented products annoy me after a while so this is ideal. It is a little pricey at £11 but I am sick and tired of spending a fortune on really cheap lip balms that either don't work or make my lips worse.

I think this will be a firm favourite for me now. I haven't had any lip balm top this so far and I have already ordered another tube so when I run out I don't need to panic. If you fancy trying a lip balm that is natural and super hydrating then this could be for you. I highly recommend it and I can't see myself using anything else. :)

Have you tried Lanolips before? What did you think?

The Disney Tag

Photos from WeHeartIt

Hey everyone! Today is another tag post and one that I feel I just had to do and thats The Disney Tag. So I am a massive Disney fan, I have been watching Disney movies my entire life and I still enjoy snuggling up and watching them now when I just want to relax and watch something nice and easy. There is something about Disney thats just so magical and always leave you with that 'feel good' feeling. As far as I am concerned, you are never too old for Disney. So onto the tag…

1. A scene in any Disney movie you wish you could experience.

I would have to say the lantern scene in Tangled. Its just so magical and beautiful and it always makes me really happy when I see it on screen so imagine actually being there! If I could have the song playing in the background too that would be even better. :)

2. An unforgettable moment you've had at the parks.

I have only ever been to Disneyland Paris once when I was 9 and I just remember the entire trip being just magical and amazing! I think when you are young, the place just seems so special and you believe every single thing thats happening. I would say I probably have two unforgettable moments from that trip and they would be having breakfast with all the characters as I really thought I was having breakfast with the real Mickey Mouse! We all had to get up and do the 'Hey Macarena' which just sticks in my memory. My second one would be when we got to go to the nighttime parade. Everything was lit up with fairy lights and we had this giant sparkling mechanical snail come charging towards us, I just remember being so excited and finding the whole thing just magical.

3.What non-Disney song reminds you of Disney or brings back memories?

The only songs I can think of are Disney songs! 'Its a Small World' always brings back memories but thats still a Disney song…

4.When was the first time you went to a Disney park?

Like I said, I have only ever been once and it was August 1999. Me and my sister couldn't contain ourselves, we were that excited. We had always wanted to go to Disneyland and never thought we would. We had what we thought was a long train journey on the Eurostar when really it probably wasn't that bad at all.

5. If you could choose any of the characters to be your best friend, who would you choose?

Ah thats tough as they all seem so nice! I would probably say Tinkerbell though if I had to choose just one. She is so cute and seems really kind and fun. Plus she is a fairy so just imagine the sorts of things she could magic up, I could probably even fly which would be pretty cool. :)

6. Who are your favourite Disney princesses?

Okay, first up would be Rapunzel, she is my favourite of all time. I just love her attitude and how she wants to try new things and give everything a go even if she is terrified. I want to be a little more like that myself and people definitely underestimate her, she seems really sweet and everything but she knows how to stand up for herself and I love that about her. I also really like Arial, Jasmine and Pocahontas.

7. Name a scene/moment in any Disney movie that never fails to make you cry.

Oh there are two scenes that bring me to tears every single time I watch them and I am pretty sure I'm not alone. They are when Mufasa dies in Lion King and when Bambi's mother is killed. Oh just thinking about them makes me sad.

8. What is the first Disney movie you remember seeing?

I think it would have to be Beauty and the Beast. I remember being really young and just sitting in front of the telly watching it for probably the hundredth time wearing a pair of purple leggings covered with the rose from the movie and a purple sweatshirt with belle and the beast across it. I loved that film so much.

9. What is your favourite Disney movie?

Oh I could never just choose one! They are all amazing and I really do love them all. I love the classics and I love movies like Pirates of the Caribbean. I am just one big Disney fan. :)

10. Share a video or image that shows your love of Disney.

I thought I would include a couple of photos from when I went to Disneyland as it really was an amazing trip. :)

Now I tag all of you to give this tag a go, especially if you are a Disney fan. Let me know if you do so I can take a look at your answers. :)

Eau Thermale Avene - Light Hydrating Cream

Hey ladies! So the other week I ran out of my favourite moisturiser to wear under make up which is Eucerin's AQUAporin Active moisturising cream. I have been using it every day since last winter and I keep repurchasing it as its a perfect make up base and doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy or shiny. However the last few times I have popped into Boots hoping to find it there, its always been sold out. I was getting to the point where I really needed a moisturiser to apply in the morning and I didn't want to use all my Clarins one up. Thats when I thought I'd give Eau Thermale Avene a try.

I have seen this sitting on the shelves in Boots all the time but never really payed it much attention. As I was looking for a new moisturiser until I could get hold of my normal one, this kind of stood out, it was a light hydrating cream just like the Eucerin one and when I applied the tester to my skin, it felt pretty similar too. Now after using this for the last two weeks, I just love it!

So first up, the packaging is quite simple but it looks quite expensive and I like the fact its a simple white tube with some pink and grey lettering. As for the product itself, its a dream to apply. It has a lovely light consistency to it and sinks into my skin almost instantly. It isn't greasy and leaves my face totally shine free. The best bit about it, is my skin feels hydrated all day long and I never need to reapply or anything which is a bonus for someone like me who has very dry skin. It also smells really fresh which is a nice change to some moisturisers.

I can safely say I will be repurchasing this as its as good, if not better then my one before. I also really want to try some of their other products now as I noticed they had quite a range in Boots. If you fancy trying out a new moisturiser thats super hydrating and still a great base for make up then I highly recommend this.

Have you ever tried this brand before? What did you think?

Sweater Weather Tag

Photos from WeHeartIt
So I saw this tag on YouTube a few weeks ago and thought it was such a good one and I didn't see why us bloggers couldn't give it a go either. Like you all probably know by now, I love doing these sorts of blog posts as well as reading them and seeing everyones answers, so here we go!

1. Favourite candle scent?

I love burring candles come Autumn and Winter so this is pretty tough as I wouldn't say I had just one favourite. I think I'll go with the candle I am bunting right now and thats Yankee Candle's 'Winter Wonderland'. Its just a gorgeous scent and I could burn it for hours on end.

2. Coffee, tea or hot chocolate?

Okay, if its freezing cold outside then I would go for a hot chocolate as it always warms me up and makes me feel all cosy. However, on a daily basis I would have to go with tea. There is something about a cup of tea after a long day at work or when you just want to snuggle up that makes me feel all warm inside. Lets be honest here, tea makes everything okay. :)

3. What's the best fall memory you have?

When me and my sister were younger, our dad would give a conker to each of us that he picked up on his way home from work and we used to get so excited about it! He would do this every single year and would always find the biggest, shiniest ones he could. I just remember us really looking forward to it and for me, it meant that autumn was really here. Its weird how you remember certain things and they stick with you for years and years..

4. Which make up trend do you prefer: dark lips or winged eyeliner?

Easily dark lips. I am useless at applying winger eyeliner so I hardly ever wear it. I love a dark lip for this time of year, it can be simple or dramatic and there are so many shades to choose from, there is always something to suit everyone.

5. Best Fragrance for fall?

Oooo thats tough one but I am going to go with Marc Jacobs' Dot. Its such a gorgeous scent and really reminds me of the leaves falling from the trees and when I went to New York in September. I really like it and its something I always end of going back to, time and time again. Plus the bottle is beyond cute!

6. Favourite Thanksgiving food?

We don't celebrate Thanksgiving here in the UK..

7. What is autumn weather like where you live?

Autumn weather here in the UK is pretty drab and cold. We get some days where the sun is shining and the weather is lovely and crisp but we get a lot of days where it just rains all day long and gets pretty cold. Put it this way, we are wearing coats, jackets and scarves by the end of October.

8. Most worn sweater?

Its changed all the time! For me, it depends how cold it is. If its not too bad then probably a nice cosy sweat shirt or something, its its freezing then probably a nice cable knit sweater. I don't tend to wear one more then the other though otherwise I would never get a lot of wear out of them all.

9. Must have nail polish this fall?

There have been two that I have been wearing nearly all the time and thats Essie's 'Bahama Mama' and Essie's 'Chinchilly'. They are both gorgeous shades and are ideal for the colder weather. I love Bahama Mama because its a lovely deep plum shade but Chinchilly is the ideal grey and goes with absolutely everything!

10. Football games or jumping in leaf piles?

Oh leaf piles all the way! I'll be honest, I haven't done it in a while but its a lovely feeling when you are younger and just launching yourself into a massive pile of leaves you have been piling up for the last hour or so. Cant go wrong with a bit of crazy fun.

11. Skinny jeans or leggings?

As much as I adore my skinnies, I also end up living in leggings come Autumn and Winter. I have these lovely think black ones from Topshop that are really warm and I literally pair them with everything. Whether it be jumpers, shirts or skirts, I will wear my black chunky leggings. I also love wearing them with nice chunky socks that come up a bit higher on the leg, very cosy!

12. Combat boots or Uggs?

I think I probably wear my combat boots the most but when its freezing cold you can't go wrong with Uggs. They just keep my feet all nice and toasty and there is nothing warmer then them. They also look great with everything. So I am choosing both on this question. :)

13. Is pumpkin spice worth the hype?

I don't know! I have never tried it and I really really want too. Its something I keep meaning to do but I never get round to it. I hope it is worth the hype!

14. Favourite fall TV show?

Oooo well I think I would have to say Downton Abbey as a drama and then all the reality kind of shows like, Strictly Come Dancing, X Factor and I'm a Celeb. They always come out at the same time every year and just remind me thats its fall time and Christmas is only round the corner!

Okay, so thats the sweater weather tag complete! I had so much fun doing it and I hope you guys enjoyed reading it. :) I tag every single one of you to give this a go and please let me know if you do because I would love to read your answers!

November Glossybox

Hello my lovelies, todays post is on this months Glossybox. I can't believe I have been receiving Glossy-boxes now for about a year, its gone so quickly! After lasts months disappointment I was really hoping that this box would be a little more exciting and have a few products that I would actually like to try out. So this is what was inside…

Vichy Idealia Life Serum. First up, this little organza bag filled with three pint sized boxes of this serum was really cute. Its a nice idea and makes it look a little prettier. As for the product, Vichy is a brand I have wanted to try for a little while now and this sounds like a good product to test first. Its meant to protect your skin from visible effects of stress, pollution and an unbalanced diet and basically create gorgeous looking skin. I am pretty excited to try this out and it can be worn underneath your usual moisturiser so you don't have to completely change your skin care routine. I can't wait to give this a try.

Emite Make Up Micronized Eyeshadow. I am a totally sucker for any sort of make up product and this cute little pot of eyeshadow is no exception. It basically has no paragons or perfume in it so its gentle of contact wearers or people with sensitive eyes. I received this gorgeous champagne pearl sort of shade that has a hint of shimmer to it, its stunning.

Yves Rocher Hand Cream. With the weather getting colder, skin is bound to get drier and I am huge on applying hand cream every single night. It makes such a huge difference and means I have super soft hands, all year round. So when I saw this in my box of goodies I was very happy. I have tried this already and leaves my hands feeling really hydrated but non greasy and the smell is amazing. It also only retails for just under £2 so its nice and affordable too. :)

Elegant Touch Rapid Dry for Nails. I can't wait to try this out! Sometimes when you don't have a fast drying top coat, you can wait forever for your nails to dry and it can be very annoying. So if this works, it could make blowing on your nails a thing of the past. This is meant to dry nails in 60 seconds whilst also conditioning cuticles. Pretty excited about this!

B. Quick One Coat Professional Finish Nail Polish. I could have either got this or a nail polish shade in my box this month and I wish I had got the nail polish. This is pretty much a top coat that you apply just once over your nail polish. Its meant to make your colour last a little longer and give it lasting shine. and to be honest, I could have done without this as I had already received the Elegant Touch Rapid Dry. Its near enough the same thing and is probably my least favourite item in this months box.

So thats what I received in this months box. Overall I was impressed with the products and its a huge improvement from October's. I will be trying out nearly everything which is good. What did you think of this months box?

What's In My Bag?

Hey everyone! Today I wanted to do a 'what's in my bag' post. I have wanted to do one of these for a little while but I wanted to wait until I bought a new bag so I could talk to you about that too! Now everything in these pictures is straight out of my bag, I haven't added anything or taken anything away apart from my keys as I take them out of my bag when I get home and I totally forgot to include them in the photo… you'll just have to imagine my keys being there. :)

So first up, my bag. I bought this about a month ago from M&S. Now seeing as thats where I work, I tend not to get a lot from there as after seeing it all day long, it gets boring and loses its appeal. I normally just buy food from there.. as its much easier then going anywhere else. However, I saw this Autograph bag and actually really loved it. It comes in a few other colours but I figured black went with everything and was ideal for winter. Its got leather handles and and detailing and the rest is almost like a waterproof material. Its the perfect size to take to work or out shopping and I can fit everything I need inside and more.

Now onto whats inside my bag. So obviously I have the essentials such as my keys and my Topshop purse which I got in a super bright pink colour in the summer. I just wanted something really bright so its easy to find and its a nice big size. I am a total sucker for a big purse, I love cramming all my cards inside and still having room left. I really hate small purses, I just don't see the point in them. Of course I have my iPhone 5 which I can't go anywhere without and I recently got this gorgeous Kate Spade phone case, something I have been after for ages! I also nearly always carry my Kindle around with me. You never know when you might have some time to kill so I like to have it to hand. Another few essentials I have in my bag are pain killers, 4Head (which I think is amazing if you suffer with bad headaches like me), hand sanitizer (very important) and a packet of polos and gum.

Make up wise I never take lots as I am always switching it up. I always have my MAC Prep and Prime powder, my MAC concealer and of course a lip balm. I also tend to carry around a range of lip products as they are something I always chuck in at the last minute. Currently I have a MAC lipstick in the shade 'Hug me', a Rimmel Apocalips in the shade 'Nova' and my Sephora tinted lip balm. In a week or so I am positive that will be different. Last of all is a mini hairbrush. I don't like carrying huge brushes around with me and this is the perfect size.

So thats the contents of my bag, I hope you enjoyed being nosey!

What do you carry around in your handbag?

Hey everyone! Just another Instagram Diary post for those of you that don't follow me on Instagram. :). These are taken from October through to now so its pretty spaced out. So I'll start with the most recent at the top, this was taken just the other day and its me wearing a onesie at work. It was pretty fun to wear one actually and even though I am sure I got some very strange looks at least I was super comfy and cosy too! Next are a few things I have purchased recently including two new MAC lipsticks, Yankee candles and my new name necklace - Carrie style. I also got a gorgeous new pair of pi's from Victoria's Secret and with that came a reward card. If I pop back in December this card could have £10, £50 or £500 on it… kinda hoping for the £500! Then I have a few snaps of Halloween themed things like my super cute pumpkin and some candy corn which is so yummy! There are also a few quotes there which I thought were cute and pretty funny too and a nice little photo to welcome October. The rest are selfies from a wedding I went to last month. It was really fun and I wanted to include a few snaps from it as well as the eye make up I wore too. Last of all, my RiRi Hearts MAC palette which I just love!

So thats my Instagram Diary, I hope you enjoyed it and if you'd like to follow me on Instagram then feel free. :)

MAC Divine Night Collection Lipsticks

Hey ladies! Today's post is on two of the new lipsticks from MAC's holiday collection Divine Night. There is nothing I love more then new MAC collections but the holiday one has to be my favourite. The colours are always stunning, the packing is always a little more special and there is always something exciting about a Christmas collection being launched.

I had spent a little time before this was launched looking at everything that would be in the collection and the shades on offer so I kind of already knew what I wanted to get my mitts on. I went for two of the lipsticks, 'Flair For Finery' and 'Private Party'. I just fell in love with them!

So first up, I just wanted to say how gorgeous the packaging is this year. They have a lovely art deco feel going on and the lipsticks just look so posh and expensive. They are a little dearer then your average MAC lipstick, retailing at £16.50 instead of £14 but for the packaging, I feel its worth a little bit extra. All the amazing gift sets this year are also amazing so its worth taking a look, I have added some of them onto my Christmas list this year already! Anyway onto the products themselves..

So Flair For Finery is a gorgeous cool pinkish nude shade and it is just stunning. It is perfect for when I just want a hint of colour on my lips and will look great paired with dramatic eye makeup or an every day look. Its a lustre which means its nice and glossy and perfect for dry lips, ideal for the wintery weather. Private Party is the total opposite, its a lovely deep plum mauve colour and is the sort of shade everyone wants to be wearing this season. It just looks gorgeous when applied and because it has a satin finish it glides over my lips easily. I just think it is such a beautiful colour and something I didn't have in my collection before.

Unfortunately, all the lipstick are sold out online, but you may be able to get hold of some in store. Its well worth taking a look at the entire collection as I think MAC have done really well this year. I struggled to narrow it down to just the two! What do you think of holiday collections?

Yankee Candles | Christmas Scents

Hey everyone, I hope you are all well and having a lovely weekend so far. Today's post is on some Yankee candles I picked up recently. Now, I am sure you all know by now that I am a huge candle fan and there is nothing I like more come autumn/winter time then lighting a scented candle and just relaxing. I find them really soothing and they instantly make a room warm and cosy. My favourite scents have to be the autumn ones and of course Christmas ones.

So I picked up a few new candles for the Christmas season as I missed out badly last year. There is something about Christmas candles that makes people go a little crazy and by the beginning of December last year, every single scent I liked had sold out. I was not impressed but I learnt from my mistake and got in there a little earlier this time. So the scents I went for are 'Sparkling Cinnamon', 'Snow In Love', 'Winter Wonderland' and 'Christmas Eve'.

Like i have said before, I am useless at describing scents so I am just going to go by what they describe them as themselves if thats okay…

So 'Sparkling Cinnamon' is described as 'Holiday glow… the spicy warmth of real imported stick cinnamon with a hint of cloves.' Cinnamon for me is the perfect Christmas scent so I can't wait to light this one! 'Snow In Love' is described as 'Fall in love with this delightful blend of creamy, comforting woods and wintry powder freshness.' This I could literally smell all day long, it smells that good. I can't even describe it, its just gorgeous! 'Winter Wonderland' is described as 'So real you can almost hear sleigh bells… the tingle of a frosty breeze blowing through icy pines.' This is just a lovely refreshing scent and perfect for when you want something light. 'Christmas Eve' is described as 'Traditional Christmas scents of a warm hearth, sugared plums and candid fruits.' I have been after this candle for ages as to me, this is Christmas in a jar. I think I will be saving this one till Christmas is really upon us. :)

So they are my latest additions to my candle collection for winter. I think that will probably do me now for the next couple of months but you never know, I could sneak another couple in before then!

What are your favourite Yankee candle scents? What candles do you like lighting this season?

NOTD | Essie - For The Twill Of It

Hey ladies. Its time for another nail of the day post. I just love painting my nails at the moment as there are so many lovely nail polish shades out there at the moment. Like I have said before, A/W polishes are my absolute favourites! There is just something about dark greys and deep reds that I adore. The shade I am currently wearing is Essie's 'For The Twill Of It'.

I have never had a nail polish this sort of shade before so to me, its pretty unusual and something totally different to what I normally wear but I just think its stunning. Essie describe it as a 'rich medium brown with reflective green shimmer' but I would say its more of a purple with a hint of reflective green shimmer depending on the light. It switches between purple and green as you move and looks really pretty. I am not entirely sure my swatch does it a whole lot of justice, its very difficult to capture the colour in a photo.

If you fancy trying out a shade thats a little different then you have to give this a whirl, its stunning!

What polishes have you been wearing lately?

MAC In Extreme Dimension 3D Black Lash

Hey everyone. Today's post is on this MAC mascara that I featured in my latest monthly favourites. Now I love mascara, its one of things that I use every single day and I feel it really makes a difference to my eyes. To be honest, I don't think I would last too long without it at all. I actually purchased this as I was in desperate need of a new mascara, my normal MAC mascara had totally finished and I saw this on display in the MAC store and thought I would give it a whirl.

The packaging is what made it stand out to me. I know its the classic MAC black packaging but the shape is so unusual. I have no idea why they went of this sort of style at all but I have to say that when applying this, the wand handle is actually really comfortable to hold. As for the product itself, I love it. First of all, its blacker than black shade makes it really stand out on my lashes and it doesn't smudge, flake off or clump which is super important and lasts all day and night. It is meant to create a curl to your lashes and add lots of volume and length. My lashes have a natural curl to them anyway so I can't say whether that claim actually works but as for length and volume, hell yeah. My lashes just look pretty perfect with this on them and I haven't stopped using it at all.

This mascara is quite pricey at £18 but I personally think its worth every penny. I don't know whether I prefer it to my MAC Zoom Fast mascara but I would think about purchasing it again thats for sure.

Have you tried any MAC mascaras? Any favourites?

Monthly Favourites | October

Hey everyone. Can anyone actually believe its November already? It means there is less then 2 months till Christmas which is so so exciting, this year is flying past so fast. So anyway, that means its time for my October favourites. I love writing monthly favourite posts and I also love reading them, its great to see what people have been loving and sometimes makes you want to give them a try too. :) So this is what my monthly favourites consist of this time…

Sebastian Thickfy Foam. So I did a blog post on this last month and I just love it. This creates so much volume in my hair and really does make it feel and look thicker which is perfect for me. My hair is quite fine so this makes it look a lot better and makes the volume in my hair last pretty much all day which is amazing! I also love the fact that it doesn't leave my hair crispy or anything which some mousses can do.

MAC In Extreme Dimension 3D Black Lash Mascara. So I purchased this a couple of weeks ago and wasn't completely sure first of all, its not the sort of mascara I would normally go for but I fancied a change. Well now I just adore this mascara! I think I'll do a separate post on this but I just had to include it in my monthly favourites as I have been wearing this every single day and have been loving what it does to my lashes. It is also super black which I love!

MAC Lashes in #48. I don't wear falsies that much as I never feel I need too, for me its more of a special occasion thing. I did go to a wedding this month though and these just looked stunning. They just made my eyes really stand out but they weren't too crazy or dramatic so they didn't look out of place. I just love them and they were so comfortable that I didn't feel like I wanted to pull them off after a few hours. I highly recommend MAC lashes.

Vaseline Paint the Town Red. I saw this in Boots and had to get it, the pot alone sold it to me  as its so cute and different. This has a gorgeous red tint to it and I have been wearing it a lot this month. Its so much easier to apply then red lipstick and can be used really quickly so even if I was rushing around I could apply it in seconds. Of course it is Vaseline so its also really hydrating and moisturising for your lips too.

Essie Nail Polish in ' Bahama Mama'. I just adore this colour. Autumn is all about those deep berry shades and dark polishes and I have been reaching for this gorgeous plum shade so often this month. Its just a stunning colour and is super flattering too. I did a post on this shade here if you'd like to see a swatch. :)

Zara Chunky Gold Chain. I have been wearing this with nearly everything this month. Its just gorgeous and its a lovely shade of gold. It looks fantastic with so many things but I originally bought to wear to a wedding. I just love chunky chains at the moment, it has to be one of my favourite trends currently.

Yankee Candle 'Nature's Paintbrush'. Lastly is my non beauty or fashion favourite which is a candle. Now I am a huge candle lover but more so in Autumn and Winter. I just find they make the room so much cosier and the scents are to die for. This is the one I have been burning most this month and its just lovely. Its just an Autumn day captured in a candle. I just love it!

So thats it for my monthly favourites. What have you been loving this October?
