Christmas Jumpers

Hey everyone! Its nearly that time of year where its totally acceptable to wear your favourite Christmas jumpers as much as you like and today is officially Christmas Jumper Day! I am a huge fan of jumpers anyway but there is something about Christmas jumpers that makes me all happy inside, I just love them. I can't wait to wear my candy cane one I bought last year, its so slouchy and comfortable and so easy to wear. If anything, its a shame I have to wait an entire year to wear it again! If you don't already have your favourite Christmas jumper yet then here are a few ideas, you don't even have to spend a lot if you don't want too, most places like Amazon and Ebay have so many to choose from, you'll be spoilt for choice. :)

1. This jumper is just lovely! Its pretty expensive at £79 but it is Ted Baker so its to be expected. This is ideal if you want to steer clear of all the christmassy colours and have something that can be worn the rest of the season. Despite it being pink and cream, it still has a super cute design to it with the reindeer and snowflakes.

2. Good ol' Topshop, always there for your every fashion need. Including Christmas jumpers! I think this one is super cute with the little gingerbread pattern. Its also a gorgeous red which is the perfect Christmas colour and looks great paired with jeans or a nice cosy pair of leggings. I also like the sweatshirt style to it which makes it casual as well as dressy.

3. I'm not sure if this is actually available to buy anywhere, I just included this as its just like those homemade style jumpers that grannies make. This is the perfect classic style and ideal come Christmas Eve. I have never had anyone make me a jumper before but I can imagine it being really sweet and something you can keep for years to come. :)

4. Now something for the classic and simple jumper wearers. This is from Miss Selfridge and is a lovely, cotton jumper thats fitted so if you don't want a big slouchy jumper this could be for you. Again, this would look fantastic paired with some skinny jeans and knee high boots. its also not too christmassy so you could wear this throughout the winter season.

5. I love this jumper so much! It screams Christmas (literally) and is full of all the colours you could expect from a Christmas jumper. I adore the fair isle pattern and the snowflake designs. This snugly jumper is from River Island and only costs £35 which I think is pretty good going for such a slouchy, chunky jumper.

6. Lastly is another Topshop number and its gorgeous! Its a lovely subtle grey but that huge holly across the shoulder and front makes it really christmassy without being too in your face. It does cost £61 so its a little more pricey then your standard jumper but it really is lovely. :)

So thats it, a few ideas for a Christmas jumper if you don't have one just yet. Lets be honest, everyone should have that crazy Christmas jumper that they only dig up once or twice a year...

Lets Stay Toasty

Hey everyone! Now for someone like me who suffers terribly with freezing cold hands most of the year, I am always on the hunt for a nice warm pair of gloves come autumn/winter. When it gets really cold, I am literally in so much pain I could cry sometimes so for me, its so important to find the warmest pair of gloves I can find and I am quite happy to spend a fair bit if they work. Here I have pieced together some really cute styles that will keep your hands super cosy and toasty.

I am all for the furry styles as I find they are the warmest along with sheepskin. They are what I look for first and not only do they keep me super warm they also look really stylish. For those of you that just want a little extra warmth but nothing too heavy then there are so many cute knitted styles out thee in so many different colours. I love the mitten style but for something more practical then the fingerless ones are brilliant. You can still text and do everything else whilst still keeping warm. :) The only problem I have is when I'm driving, I have yet to find a nice pair of leather gloves that actually fit me! I find they are always too big which is really annoying.. leather gloves do look fantastic though and are well worth the money.

So thats my quick little 'lets stay toasty' post, I hope it gave you a few ideas for your next gloves purchase. :)

Winter Warmers

winter Warmers

Polyvore

Hey! Today I just wanted to do a quick post on some what I like to call, winter warmers. Its getting colder all the time and its getting to that time of year where you want to be all wrapped up before leaving the house. I love a nice cosy scarf or a chunky knit hat paired with my winter coat and these are just a few that I found and thought would look super cute once the temperature drops a little more.

I included the classic bobble hats in a range of colours, some with a knitted bobble and others with a fur bobble which I am seeing everywhere at the moment. I love shades of deep reds, creams and browns in the winter and there are lots around to choose from. I also had to add in the novelty hat like this cute panda number. Panda's are my favourite animal so I just fell in love with this straight away, lets be honest, you are never too old for an animal hat. :) I have also been loving ear muffs lately as you can still style your hair and not ruin it but also keep your ears all nice and toasty. I really like the classic black pair but the grey is also pretty sweet too. Lastly is scarves and tartan is huge this season so what better way to incorporate it into your winter wardrobe then in a scarf. If you prefer to be even more wrapped up then there is always a snood to keep you all warm and cosy. :)

So thats it for my quick winter warmers post. I hope you enjoyed it and it maybe gave you a few ideas for what you'd like to style your winter coat with this year.

Trend | Chunky Rings

Chunky Ring Trend

Polyvore

Hey my lovelies, hope you are all well and enjoying your week so far, its nearly the weekend though which is never a bad thing. :) Anyway, today's post is just a quickie on one of my favourite trends this season, chunky rings. I love wearing rings and stacking them up to toughen up a look. They look great with so many styles and suit everyone.

I just included a few of the styles that I love including lettering and animals. They can be worn with everything and just look super cool and edgy. I also like the ones with the black detailing to them as it adds a little splash of colour. Its a trend that I will definitely be rocking this season and maybe you guys will too. If you fancy giving it a whirl but don't want to spend too much then Primark and Topshop do lots to choose from in lots of different shades of gold and silver.

Do you love this trend? Will you be rocking it this season?

Lots of love

Look Book | Autumn Is Coming...

Hey everyone! Autumn is really just around the corner now and that means we can start shopping for those winter boots, chunky knits and accessories to take us from summer to fall. Its one of my favourite times of year, I just love the style in Autumn/Winter. Its much more me and I find there are a lot more choices out there for everyone. Today's post is a possible outfit for when the weather isn't quite cold enough for your favourite sweaters and scarves but you still want to rock the fall trends. :)

So first up, a pair of jeans. I live in jeans most of the year but fall is the perfect season to really style them up and make them look special. I love this skinny pair that look slightly distressed and because they are a medium wash, they aren't too wintery and are a perfect transition piece. Next, I paired them with this gorgeous tartan shirt. Tartan is going to be huge for A/W13 and I am so excited! I just think tartan really transforms an outfit and the great thing about shirts is they can be worn either as a jacket, with the sleeves rolled up or down and paired with pretty much anything. They are ideal for the in-between season look and I just love the denim panel on the back too. I will be searching Topshop high and low for this, thats for sure! Onto Boots, now I love buying a new pair of boots every year and its worth it because you pretty much live in them for most of the year, here in the UK. I love these chunky, black biker boots with this outfit, it just toughens it up and links nicely with the shirt. The great thing about black biker boots is that they look fantastic with so many things, perfect if you only want to purchase one new pair this season.

Moving on to jewellery, its all about chunky rings this season and I just adore them. The more the better and I like to just pile them on. I find this looks best with gold ones but you can play around with a mix match of metals to create your own style. I also included some chunky black and gold bangles too match in with the boots and toughen up the look. Lastly, its time for the makeup. Now red lipstick is always a perfect fall colour and this Topshop one is the perfect shade but lashes are meant to pretty big this A/W so I also included MAC's Zoom lash mascara too. As for nail polish, a mixture of black and red nails is ideal for this look. Its all about the finishing touches after all. :)

I Wish I Could Afford...

I Wish I Could Afford...

Polyvore

Hey everyone, hope you are having a great weekend so far, shame about this awful weather! It literally has not stopped raining all day.. depressing isn't the word! So to cheer myself up, I have been browsing the internet and window shopping and found myself saying 'I wish I could afford' so many times! So I decided I would do a little blog post on things I really wish I could afford. You will always have those things that you probably know deep down, you will never ever purchase (unless you win the lottery or something... unlikely!) So this is like my dream list and I think everyone should have one :).

1. Topshop Boots. These are just gorgeous! I saw these the other day in Oxford Street and just fell in love. They are pretty pricey for boots but that doesn't stop me wanting them on my feet. I also tried them on while I was there (big mistake!) it just made me want them more! To be honest, I probably could afford these once I get paid however, right this second, they are on my wish list. I love them!

2. Lanvin 'Love' Ring. How cute is this ring? I saw these in lots of magazines in the past month and I would just love to have one. They are ridiculously expensive for a ring that isn't the most practical in the world though and I will never ever own one of these but I just love it. Its just so edgy but cute and will look great with pretty much anything. They also do a few different words, I just liked this one best.

3. A Trip to New York City. I really really wish I could afford to go to New York right this minute. Like, even for just a weekend? Like I have said before, its my favourite place in the entire world, I just love it there and feel so at home, its just a shame its so pricey to go there. Plus I would need spending money (of course) which makes it even more so.. There is always next year? I just HAVE to go back next year..

4. Chanel Lipstick. Who wouldn't want a Chanel lipstick? I think its the red lipstick to have, the packaging is just so chic, classic and expensive looking and I have heard such great things about the formula and lasting power of these lipsticks. If I had some spare money, I would love to invest in one. I just cant justify the price, I always have something I need to purchase instead. Maybe one day.. :)

5. Tiffany Rose Gold Earrings. How gorgeous are these?! I am always partial to a bit of expensive jewellery but its definitely something I never buy myself unfortunately. I just adore these earrings, they are so cute and simple but the rose gold make them a little different to the standard silver that I normally go for.

6. Prada Handbag. Okay, so this would have to be on the top of my wish list. How stunning is this handbag? I just love it so much! Its everything I could ever want in a handbag, its black, its structured, its the perfect size and shape.. what more could a girl like me want? The only down side is the crazy price.. (we are talking over £1000 here..). Realistically, I will never own this handbag, I think the price tag is actually insane and will never have enough spare money lying around with nothing else to pay for. This really is something I can only dream of. *Sigh*.

What products are you lusting over at the moment? What does your dream wish list consist of?

Spring Style

Spring Style
Polyvore - princessluci

Hey My Lovelies. Hope you've all had a great week so far and are excited for the weekend. I'll be working I'm afraid but thats what comes with working in retail I guess. Boo! Todays post is about springtime style and some of my must haves.

First up, I think everyone needs that perfect pair of jeans. Goodbye dark colours and hello to refreshing, medium washes. They instantly brighten up an outfit and take it from a winter look to something much more spring. Secondly, seeing as english springtime is much more like everywhere else's winter, a light weight jumper is a must. It saves having to worry about a cardigan or light jacket and looks super stylish and casual. I love this mint green Wildfox one. Its such a lovely colour and makes me think of sunshine.
Now I don't know about you, but I am a little bit fed up of wearing my wintery boots. So when the weather gets a little warmer I love to slip on a nice pair of trainers or Toms. Im really craving a pair of converse at the moment like these ones. Lastly springtime means ditching those black handbags and digging out cross body bags in lots of different shades. This Rebecca Minkoff bag is to die for! I just love the style and colour and if the price wasn't so high, I'd definitely treat myself to one.

On to cosmetics. Spring wouldn't be spring without pastel nail polishes and pink lipsticks. This gorgeous lilac Essie polish is so stunning and the perfect shade for a springtime look. And you can't go wrong with a classic MAC lipstick in a light shade of pink. Last of all is fragrance. I'm a huge fan of Coco Chanel but sometimes, when the weather is slightly warmer, I like to try a lighter scent. Daisy is very simple and light and the perfect finishing touch to any springtime look.

So there you have it, my first season style post. I thought I'd give it a go and do something slightly different. I hope you enjoyed it. :)

Cute Tees for Spring

6 Cute Tees

Hey Guys! Hope you're all having a great easter weekend so far. I've been working most of it but I do have three days off now so it's not all bad :). Now I know that the snowy weather we've been having lately is nothing at all like spring but that hasn't stopped me shopping for T-shirts and shorts... So todays post is about just that. I love wearing a casual tee with cute shorts or skinny jeans in spring/summer time. These are six that I fell in love with and would love to go out and purchase right now!

1. Star crossed lovers tee. This Wildfox t-shirt is so cute! I adore their t-shirts and baggy beach jumpers sooo much but they are very expensive so I only get one now and again. When I went to New York last year I managed to get one really cheap, so if I go again this year I'll be stocking up and this will be one I'll be looking for. It would look really cute with denim shorts or a pair of black skinny jeans.

2. Oh Romeo tee. Another Wildfox t-shirt. Very cute! I think red is a lovely colour for spring. Its not too summery so still looks good when we have those rainy days. I would pair this with a medium blue skinny jeans. The thing I also like about Wildfox t-shirts are they are pretty baggy so look really effortless and cool.

3. NYC vest. Okay I know this isn't exactly a t-shirt but it kind of falls into the same category. I love all things New York. The whole city is just amazing to me. I love the smells, the noise, the people and the atmosphere so so much. So when I see really cute vests or t shirts related to it. I nearly always need to have it. So this is perfect.

4. Dork tee. This Topshop number is very very popular at the moment. I've seen so many girls walking around with this kind of t-shirt on in a variety or colours. I actually have a 'Dweeb' sweatshirt from Topshop and I wear it to death. I think wearing this with cute hot pink shorts or a simple pair of skinny jeans would look great!

5. Peach polka dot tee. Yet another Wildfox tee. I just love this! Its so cute and very spring. This would also look super nice in the summer with shorts and flip flops. The colour just cheers me up and is something simple but not at all boring. Love!

6. You make me happy tee. Lastly is this black slogan t-shirt. I just really like the writing on the front. Its a sweet and feel good saying. Its just a very casual t-shirt but I think you could really dress this up with disco pants or a leather skirt with some chunky jewellery.

So there you have it, my first fashion post. I hope you enjoyed reading it and maybe picked up some ideas or fell in love with some of them. :)
